We try so hard,
To follow our dreams.
But many are oblivious,
To what is never seen.
We only have a life,
To live as we like.
The older our age,
The brighter the light.
The light at the end,
Like a tunnel at a bend.
We know we will see it,
But we just don’t know when.
Everyone is moving,
It’s just how fast or slow.
For some could be weak,
And some could be bold.
It doesn’t really matter,
How fast we take that path.
If we accept that we’re on it,
Nothing will be too tough.
Life will be a breeze,
With few worries in sight.
We will not be afraid,
To do whatever is our delight.
We can help other people,
Or screw up their lives.
Ultimately we’ll be dead,
So be ready when it arrives.
Whatever that was done,
Whatever that was said,
Will forever just be memories,
When we lie on our death beds.
Some people will cry,
Others will just sigh.
Whether we had done good or bad,
It’s simply bye.
But the crucial point is,
Whether we are pleased.
Pleased of what we have done,
Before we rest in peace.
