Calamity...

All men are brothers,
like the seas throughout the world.
As for all the others,
they are blessings all unfurled.
But waves are destined to clash
and winds will forever collide.
Cities are gone in a flash
when one faction shows her pride.
Chaos still ensues,
because of lust and greed.
World peace is so taboo,
due to corrupted decreed.
A place with no crime
and silence in the skies,
makes one reminisce those times
when serenity fills the eyes.
Now the future is bleak,
as conficts ravage the lands.
Tension builds as we speak,
who knows when it ends.
Read the papers and look around,
dreadful disasters are predicted to come.
Be it natural or not, from sky or from ground,
all must peservere and never succumb.
