I placed a PS2 auction on Yahoo on behalf of my friend. Before I logged off yesterday, there were 2 bids, pushing up the price to $230. However, there was a no-lifer, or two, who tried to bid as high as they could.

I've never seen so much digital money in my entire life. Sadly, nobody is going to pay me that amount of money for the PS2. This screwed up my auction for today, as nobody could bid higher than that amount you see up there, as the amount of bytes allocated by Yahoo for the number wasn't enough. I could have lost some potential bidders.
The lesson learnt is: Check your auction frequently and blacklist those scumbags from your auctions. This way, the damage done will be minimised and consumer confidence will not be heavily affected.
